This Shipping Policy explains how Asheville Dispensary processes and ships orders placed through avldispensary.com. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Shipping Eligibility

All products contain less than 0.3% hemp-derived Delta-9 THC in compliance with the 2018 Farm Bill. This product is not available for shipment to the following states:

  • California
  • Colorado
  • Idaho
  • Arkansas
  • Hawaii
  • Kansas
  • Louisiana
  • Oklahoma
  • Oregon
  • Rhode Island
  • Utah
  • Vermont

At this time, we do not ship to outside the United States, or U.S. territories, including but not limited to Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Shipping availability may change based on evolving laws, carrier policies, or operational considerations. We reserve the right to cancel or refund orders that cannot be shipped due to destination-based restrictions.

Order Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days, excluding weekends and federal holidays.

Processing includes:

  • Verifying order details
  • Securely packaging products
  • Preparing shipments for carrier pickup

During holidays, promotional events, or periods of high order volume, processing times may be extended. We always work to process and ship orders as quickly as possible.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Shipping Carrier and Delivery Timeframes

All orders are shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS).

USPS delivery times vary based on destination, regional mail volume, and operational conditions. Most orders arrive within a few days after shipment, though delivery may take up to 7 business days in some cases.

Please note:

  • Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed
  • USPS holiday schedules and closures may impact transit times
  • Asheville Dispensary does not control USPS delivery operations once a package is in transit

Estimated Delivery Dates (“As Soon As”)

On our product and checkout pages, we may display an estimated delivery date using a dynamic calculation based on order cutoff times, processing windows, carrier transit estimates, and destination.

These estimates are presented as “as soon as” dates and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Actual delivery timing may vary due to:

  • USPS transit delays
  • Weather or seasonal volume
  • Carrier routing or operational issues
  • Factors outside our control

By placing an order, you acknowledge that all delivery dates shown on the Website are estimates only.

Shipping Rates

  • Free shipping on all orders $60 or more (after discounts, before taxes)
  • Orders under $60 are charged a flat shipping fee based on current USPS rates

All shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout prior to payment.

Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

Asheville Dispensary is not responsible for:

  • Orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer
  • Delivery delays or failures resulting from address errors

Orders returned due to address issues may be reshipped at the customer’s expense or refunded minus original shipping charges.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with your USPS tracking number.

Please allow up to 24 hours after shipment for tracking information to update. Tracking updates are provided directly by USPS and may not reflect real-time movement at every stage of transit.

 

Returned Packages

If a package is returned to Asheville Dispensary by USPS due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, or refusal by the recipient, we will contact you to determine next steps.

Depending on the situation:

  • Reshipment may require an additional shipping fee
  • Refunds, if issued, will exclude original shipping costs

Returned packages are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Lost, Delayed, or Missing Packages

Once an order has been handed off to USPS, it is officially under their control.

While we are happy to assist by providing tracking information or guidance, the customer is ultimately responsible for filing any claims directly with USPS for lost, delayed, or missing shipments.

Asheville Dispensary is not responsible for:

  • Packages delayed by USPS
  • Packages marked as “Delivered” by USPS but not received
  • Packages lost or damaged in transit after carrier acceptance

We recommend shipping to a secure address and monitoring tracking closely after shipment.

Weather and Seasonal Delays

Severe weather events, natural disasters, or peak shipping periods (including holidays) may cause delays beyond standard delivery timeframes.

Asheville Dispensary is not responsible for carrier delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Partial Shipments

In some cases, items within the same order may ship separately. If this occurs, tracking information will be provided for each shipment when available.

Hemp Product Shipping Notice

Our products are derived from hemp and are federally legal under applicable law. However, hemp-derived products may be subject to additional scrutiny by carriers or authorities.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with shipping hemp-derived products, including potential delays, inspections, or carrier-related issues beyond our control.

Shipping Provider Limitations

At this time, USPS is our sole shipping provider. We are actively exploring additional carrier options to provide greater flexibility and reliability in the future.

Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update or modify this Shipping Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page.
